When we moved to our new building, we doubled the size of our Refrigerated/Frozen Department. New product lines and customer demand have increased so much that we're enlarging the section again. Our buyers have selected hundreds of items offering quality, taste, value, and convenience. We carry a full line of dairy products, including milk, butter, yogurt, and ice cream. Our soy products have also expanded to include fresh soymilk, soy yogurt and other tasty products.

Many of our products are organic, and rBGH (recombinant bovine growth hormone) and preservatives are strictly forbidden. Our eggs and dairy products come from farms where the cows, goats and chickens are fed vegetable diets and are not given antibiotics. Occasionally we get to visit the farms that produce our milk and eggs! When we can get it, we have raw unpasturized milk from Claravale Farm. We also offer a number of refrigerated wheat-free breads, sprouted breads, raw foods and other specialty items for restricted diets.

One reason the Refer/Freezer section is so popular is the convenience it offers. A full line of prepared foods and ready-made meals makes cooking fast, easy, and healthy. Soups, salads, pasta, many types of spreads, and sandwich fixings make for a quick meal or snack. We offer frozen vegetables, fruits, prepared dishes, ice cream, non-dairy desserts and sorbets, juices, and more.
