3.16.05: Rainbow recently received a Bay Area Green
Business Award for of our outstanding commitment to recycle,
conserve resources, and eliminate pollutants and toxins from
the workplace. The Green Business Program is extremely competitive
and awards only those businesses which have adhered to the
highest standards. The program is coordinated by a group of
Bay Area governments that work with the US Environmental Protection
Agency and the Department of Toxic Substances Control.

2.2.05: VegNews holds and annual readers' poll asking for
votes on everything from favorite Natural Food Store, down to favorite
mayonnaise. For the third year in a row, Rainbow Grocery came out
on top. Awards will be presented on February 9th at 5:30pm at Millennium
Restaurant (another VegNews winner).
11.21.04: Rainbow was honored to be selected Retailer of
the Year by Whole Foods
Magazine.
Public Relations Committee Members Leisa Thornton, Riddle and Jennifer
Sullivan traveled to Las Vegas to attend the awards ceremony.
